Sacra, plural for sacrum, is a mobile experiment. The work changes over time - as water evaporates from the solution, crystals form. Its salt water references the Dead Sea and ideas of maturation within the amniotic fluid or primordial soup. Its light and mobility attempt to talk about extraterrestrials and the ancient alien hypothesis, while sacral forms made of clay speak to a god figure molding humanity from the earth. Its overall form tries to create a mood of secrecy and a feeling of conspiracy - an idea that the inner workings and
operators of things are unseen yet hinted at.
